Off the coast of Africa lies a constellation of islands of pristine natural beauty, where granite boulders thrust out of white sands on turquoise shores. A place where giant tortoises roam, and the waters are rich with marine life. Below is a compilation of stunning resorts including luxury private islands, private luxury villas and luxury beach resorts which are sure to inspire even the most discerning traveller.
This Blog celebrates good and progressive news on the island destination once again opening up it’s borders to welcome international tourists. I expect this to happen by April 2021, when flights from India to Seychelles will also start, and by then they would have achieved their threshold limit of vaccinating most of the Island’s population to offer a secure and safe haven to visiting tourists.
Currently they are welcoming tourists from India who are arriving by private jets and those who are already vaccinated.
The restrictions will only ease in weeks or months to come. Please download below document for update as on 18 Feb 2021 on Seychelles entry regulations for Tourists.

Guests love this place because they feel it belongs only to them. For example, there are no signs, no mealtimes or even menus. The food is discussed with an executive chef on arrival, and choosing a wine means wandering into a well-stocked cellar and picking one out, at your own pace.
Every activity, like diving or fishing expedition, is tailored, and the beautifully set outdoor spa is open whenever the guests wish for a massage. Bikes and buggies are at the guests’ disposal and a hundred discreet members of staff are ready to assist in any way they can.

Luxury Resorts & Luxury Villas on Mahe Island:
The largest of the Seychelles islands, Mahé is the international gateway to this sun-soaked archipelago and home to the country’s capital, Victoria. Around 90% of the Seychelles’ population live on easy-to-explore Mahé, a destination that offers its visitors both a quintessential tropical beach vacation as well as a taste of local Creole culture.
A mountainous interior with densely forested slopes forms a beautiful backdrop to the island’s best known features: its beaches. Beau Vallon, on the west coast just opposite Victoria, is the longest and most popular beach on the island. Its clear, current-free water is ideal for swimming, water skiing, wind surfing and parasailing. Another beach worth visiting is famous Anse Intendance with its rolling breakers and palm-lined shore, but with so many picturesque coves to explore, you’ll soon find your favourite.
While Mahé is Seychelles’ largest island, it is only 28km long by 8km wide and packed with a great choice of luxury hotels and spectacular natural attractions. The fact Mahé is so small becomes a handy advantage, with lush jungle, pristine beaches, water sports and superb diving extremely close to one another; driving around the whole island takes a leisurely 3 hours.
Those visitors short on time could happily spend their whole Seychelles holiday exploring the island of Mahé but for longer stays we’d highly recommend a bit of island hopping. Include a few days on the smaller public islands of Praslin and La Digue, or for true exclusivity and genuinely empty beaches, consider one of the Seychelles private islands, as listed above.

Creole houses nestle under papaya trees, their window boxes and plant pots overflowing with flowers. Fishermen dawdle along the road carrying sticks hung with fish, while wooden pirogues glide across the water. This is where you’ll find bona fide Seychellois island life.
La Digue is home to Anse Source d’Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world. What makes La Digue even more charming is that most everyone gets around by bicycle. Imagine biking along a coastal road lined with giant boulders and clear, turquoise water.
There’s no airport on this tiny island, just 5 km (3 miles) long and 3 km (2 miles) wide, so you’ll first meet La Digue from the water. It’s a 20-minute boat ride from nearby Praslin, and you approach to views across a seductive coastline of blonde beaches, fronds of palms and clusters of smoothed boulders.

Seychelles Yacht Charter:
The Seychelles is situated in a balmy, relatively calm swath of the Indian Ocean covering approximately 150,000 square miles, though a Seychelles charter vacation focuses on the main Inner Islands, all of which are close together, making for easy passages between them.
A Seychelles yacht charter unfolds in an exotic, less-traveled part of the world, which is what makes cruising the Seychelles so appealing. Small, secluded coves fringed with majestic palms set back from pristine white-sand beaches indent many of the islands, and just offshore are coral reefs resplendent in hues of brown, orange, green, and blue.
Half of the Seychelles is set aside as a natural preserve to protect the rare birds – the Seychelles bulbul, black parrot, and fruit pigeon, to name a few – and giant tortoises that live nowhere else but in the Pacific’s Galapagos Islands.
The natural wonders are enough to make any Seychelles yacht cruising vacation memorable. The seaside resorts, boutiques, and fine restaurants found on some of the Inner Islands add a dash of luxury to the Seychelles experience.
Crewed Yacht Charter:
A Crewed yacht charter delivers the ultimate all-inclusive vacation on the water with your own private Sail or Power catamaran. Complete with a professional captain and gourmet chef, your group of up to 10 will enjoy spacious accommodations and a premium, personalized yacht charter experience.
The Moorings Crewed yacht charter blends the comfort of luxury vacations with the spirit of adventure travel. Aboard your private Sail or Power yacht, you’ll enjoy the nautical skills and local knowledge of your captain, while your gourmet chef surprises you again and again with delectable meals tailored to your particular tastes.
Moorings 5800:
Complete with your very own captain, gourmet chef and hostess, a Crewed charter aboard The Moorings Crewed 5800 Master Edition treats you to a getaway at sea most can only dream of. This 6-cabin Sail catamaran is one of the largest and newest in The Moorings fleet, providing an equally spacious and exclusive cruising experience for up to 10 guests.
The difference starts in the starboard hull, where the aft Master suite includes even more floor space and an extra-spacious bathroom with dual sinks and an enclosed shower. The forward cabin has been redesigned with the double bed facing starboard for a panoramic window view, meaning you can wake up to a new and breathtaking vista each day. An en-suite bath with a single sink and separate shower sits adjacent in the forepeak, while the port hull houses a standard en-suite cabin.
The main deck includes two en-suite cabins – each with doors to the covered outdoor forward cockpit – and a variety of amenities in a stylish, air-conditioned interior.
The saloon features plush wraparound seating, a large dining table, and a full entertainment centre with an HDTV and audio input wired to speakers throughout the yacht. Outside, the sweeping aft cockpit offers a beautiful outdoor dining space alongside a hydraulic swim platform perfect for wading in the water with the kids, or wetting your toes with a chilled cocktail in hand.
Venture up to the flybridge for a breathtaking view of your surroundings made all the more comfortable with stylish lounge seating, a table, wet bar and grill. Just imagine feasting on fresh-grilled hors d’oeuvres, sipping a world-class wine and soaking it all in as the orange sun sinks into the horizon.
The sailing itinerary duration starts from 5 Nights until 14 Nights. A Seychelles cruising itinerary takes you into a vacation paradise. The marine preserves on islands populated with diverse and rare species of birds, lizards, and turtles in the Seychelles are exotic and intriguing. The plant life is varied too, from the coco-de-mer palms with huge double coconuts to the pitcher plants, gardenias, and orchids that grow on the mountain slopes. Passages combine a mix of open-water cruising in fair winds and short hops between adjacent islands for snorkeling and scuba diving on the coral reefs or simply relaxing on one of the many white-sand beaches. Although the Inner Islands of the Seychelles are mostly undeveloped (see Seychelles maps), some are home to seaside resorts and small settlements, providing plenty to do ashore as well as aboard your luxury yacht.
